The Association will have a general membership meeting on Thursday, June 4, 2009, at 7:00 PM, at Calvary Temple, 3301 South 20th Street.

There will be a brief informational meeting by yet another trash company that wants to locate to 26th Street and Penrose Avenue.

Then there will be time for comments and questions from our residents and neighbors.

After the trash company meeting, there will be a brief but important update session regarding:

	Our current campaign against any unreasonable increase in real estate taxes.
	The issues with the round hotel and Par Four on Penrose Avenue.
	Our efforts to resolve issues of overflow traffic, from the shopping center, the sports complex, and the Wachovia Spectrum demolition.
	Sports Complex Special Services District issues, including Packer Avenue traffic calming issues and an improved cleaning program.
	Our efforts to improve the facilities and safety at FDR Park.

The Association will provide refreshments at this meeting, plus door prizes and gift certificaties, in an effort to increase attendance, and your participation in this important June 4th meeting.
